SP5 Smart MIG

The SP-5 Smart MIG has three MIG torches that can be set up for three different base metals(Aluminum, Silicon Bronze and Steel). The shielding gas and weld program with the appropriate synergic curve automatically switch when pulling the trigger. The SP-5 is ideal for body shops welding stainless steel, aluminum and zinc coated steel. In synergic mode, the microprocessor controls optimal arc stability and weld quality. The SP-5 also comes equipped for TIG and MMA/stick welding. MIG and TIG welding can be done in continuous or pulse mode. Maximum power output of 200 A.
  • Auto Switching

    To switch welding different base metals, simply pick up the appropriate torch and pull the trigger, the microprocessor and weld programs do the rest.

  • MIG Welding

    Features three MIG welding torches and wire spools. Also includes preloaded weld programs and synergic curves for all common welding situations in automotive repair.

  • TIG Welding

    Everything needed for TIG welding is included. TIG welding can be done in continuous or pulse mode.

  • Stick Welding

    Everything needed for MMA/stick welding is included.

  • Pulse MIG Comparison

    The main difference between the three pulse MIG series welders is the number of torches. The SP-1 is a compact all-in-one welder with 1-torch and 1-spool, while the SP-2 has 2-torches and 2-spools. The SP-5 has 3-torches and 3-spools. The SP-2 and SP-5 both feature auto switching between different MIG configurations.
